Coolant Flush

What is Coolant?

A coolant is a substance that is used to reduce or regulate the temperature of a system. An ideal coolant has high thermal capacity, low viscosity, is low-cost, non-toxic, chemically inert and neither causes nor promotes corrosion of the cooling system. Internal combustion engines are often cooled by circulating a liquid called engine coolant through the engine block, where it is heated, then through a radiator where it loses heat to the atmosphere, and then returned to the engine.

Urgency of repair

Coolant Flush is a maintenance operation to ensure that your vehicle is circulating clean coolant. Though not vital, contaminated coolant can cause corrosion within the system, damaging the vehicle.
